SOUTHLAKE, Texas, July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark S. Mednansky, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, is pleased to announce that Del Frisco's Grille is now open in Santa Monica on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Colorado Avenue, adjacent to the iconic Santa Monica Pier. The new location is the first Del Frisco's Grille in California and the seventh location in the country. The opening comes in the midst of rapid expansion for the brand, as four additional Grilles are set to open later this year, marking six restaurant openings overall for Del Frisco's Restaurant Group in 2013.

The new Santa Monica location offers upscale entrees, an extensive wine list and hand-crafted cocktails, all set in a 6,400 square foot space featuring a patio with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Executive Chef Daniel Tiger's menu features local ingredients, bold flavors, and Del Frisco's much-loved favorites. Some shareable offerings include Wood Oven-Baked Flatbreads, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and Ahi Tacos. The menu is rounded out with a selection of prime steaks, hearty salads, formidable sandwiches and chef-inspired entrees, as well as locally inspired dishes like Blistered Shishito Peppers, Grilled Artichoke, West Coast Fish Tacos, and Steamed Brown Bag Fish with Santa Monica Farmers Market vegetables. Late-night revelers can enjoy a decadent brunch at the Grille that includes an out-of-this-world Red Velvet Belgian Waffle as well as Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs with Chorizo Gravy.

Four Additional Grilles Set to Open in 2013
Following Santa Monica's opening, Del Frisco's Restaurant Group isn't missing a beat, as the company is set to open four additional Grilles by the end of the year. New Del Frisco Grilles will be located in Fort Worth, Southlake, Boston, and Palm Beach.

The Fort Worth and Southlake locations mark a hometown expansion for the Texas-based company. The Southlake location of Del Frisco's Grille will join Southlake Town Square, a vibrant and charming open air shopping, dining and retail development in the affluent Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Southlake. Open since 1999, the 130-acre area boasts over 120 specialty retail shops and restaurants, a movie theatre, hotel, offices, government buildings, and residential brownstones. The 8,000 square foot Del Frisco's Grille will be located in the heart of the action on the Northeast corner of North Carroll Avenue and East Southlake Boulevard. The free-standing two-story building will feature a large patio on the first floor with a fireplace, and an expansive bank of windows adjacent to the bar and dining area. The second story will also feature a patio offering dining and lounge seating. The restaurant is slated to open in winter 2013.

Already hitting the mark with a Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House location on Main Street, the Fort Worth Del Frisco's Grille will be located in the new Sundance Square Plaza, a 35-block retail and entertainment district in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Slated to open in fall 2013, the two-story restaurant will occupy more than 9,000 square feet in the Commerce Building, including a large patio. Del Frisco's Grille will be located at 420 Commerce Street in Fort Worth, TX.

In Boston, Del Frisco's Grille will be in The Street Chestnut Hill shopping center, conveniently located along Route 9 and between Hammond Street and Hammond Pond Parkway in the Boston suburb of Chestnut Hill, MA. It will be part of a new 64,000-square-foot, three-story "jewel-box" building located at the center of the project. The restaurant's address will be 55 Boylston Street in Chestnut Hill, MA and is set to open fall 2013.

Also set to open this fall, Del Frisco's Grille Palm Beach will be located in Royal Poinciana Plaza, home to a host of shopping, restaurants and commercial properties. Designed by local architecture firm Glidden Spina & Partners, who has completed many successful hospitality projects in the area, the restaurant will be over 7,000 square feet, and will feature a large bar, two separate private dining areas and an open kitchen, so diners can view all the action on the line. The restaurant's address will be 340 Royal Poinciana Way, Suite 300 in Palm Beach, FL.
