Delta Air Lines Reports October Traffic

ATLANTA, Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today reported traffic results for October 2010. System traffic in October 2010 increased 8.6 percent compared to October 2009 on a 9.5 percent increase in capacity. Load factor decreased 0.7 points to 83.4 percent.

Domestic traffic increased 6.4 percent year over year on a 7.3 percent increase in capacity. Domestic load factor decreased 0.8 points to 83.0 percent. International traffic increased 12.0 percent year over year on a 13.0 percent increase in capacity, and load factor decreased 0.8 points to 84.0 percent.
