Delta Dental Community Care Foundation Awards $480,000 Grant to Carevide Dental for Relocation of Greenville Dental Clinic
GREENVILLE, Texas, Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation today announced it has awarded Carevide Dental a $481,333 grant to support relocation of dental services for easier access for more than 4,000 underserved pediatric patients in Hunt County, Texas.
Carevide Dental, a nonprofit organization with more than 40 years of experience in providing health care services, has five medical, dental, pediatrics and women's health sites serving five counties in Northeast Texas. The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation grant will enable Carevide Dental to relocate from a residential neighborhood office to space adjacent to Carevide Pediatrics, at 3005 Joe Ramsey Blvd E., in Greenville's medical district. Funds will be used for construction and renovation, as well as to purchase new dental equipment as Carevide co-locates its dental and pediatric medical practices.

The grant is one of 32 given in Texas this year by the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation to help improve the oral health of disadvantaged children and adults by removing barriers to quality dental care. Since its inception in 2011, the Foundation has awarded more than $4.2 million in grants to organizations throughout Texas.
