Delta Dental Plans Association Names Jason Daughn as Vice President of Government Relations

Daughn Set to Direct Federal Strategy for Nation's Leading Dental Benefits Provider

WASHINGTON, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) has hired Jason Daughn to serve as its vice president of government relations. In his new role, Daughn will set the government relations strategic direction, direct lobbying efforts, and manage political operations for DDPA, the national association of Delta Dental member companies which make up the nation's leading dental benefits provider, with enrollment of over 73 million Americans. Daughn will be based in DDPA's Washington, D.C., office.

Daughn brings nearly 20 years as a strategist in both the public and private sectors to his new role, most recently serving as managing principal for Three Arch Strategies, a public affairs firm with offices in Portland, Ore., and Washington, D.C. He also served for eight years as vice president of government affairs for Cambia Health Solutions, a large health care company comprised of a broad portfolio of companies including health insurance plans Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Utah and Regence BlueShield of Idaho and Washington.

Daughn also served for eight years as a senior advisor to U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, ranking member of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, where he was the senator's chief liaison to the private sector, directing special projects spanning across industry sectors and overseeing key strategic initiatives and policy development for the senator.
