The Netflix Preferred Vendor Program was launched recently to help Netflix's content partners identify and utilize digital supply chain vendors that integrate seamlessly with Netflix and meet the rigorous standards required for high quality content conversion. To be a part of the program, companies go through a comprehensive and thorough vetting process and must demonstrate extensive capabilities in the areas of file storage, video restoration, file transcoding/encoding, subtitling/closed captioning, quality control, file transportation, standards conversion/file manipulation, and scalable workflow management.
