Denarius Holding Group Announces Long-Term Investment in Venezuela's CEMA Oil Field

U.S.-incorporated company deploys transparent international capital and American operational standards to develop a major upstream asset under the current U.S. regulatory framework.

MIAMI, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Denarius Holding Group Inc., a U.S.-incorporated energy holding company headquartered in Florida, announced on September 16 a long-term investment in the development of the CEMA Oil Field (formerly Petrokariña Oil Field) in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela, through its principal partnership in Minerosol Group C.A., which has executed the Hydrocarbons Production Participation Contract (Contrato de Participación para la Producción de Hidrocarburos - CPPH) with Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA). The company notes that this CPPH relates specifically to the CEMA Oil Field in eastern Venezuela and is distinct from the separate Petrokariña Joint Venture operating in western Venezuela.

The investment represents one of the first meaningful private-sector commitments in Venezuela's energy sector of this new era — deploying transparent international capital through a U.S. corporate vehicle, executed to American operational and compliance standards, under the current U.S. regulatory framework. The project is expected to support the rehabilitation of mature oilfield infrastructure, production optimization, well interventions, and the application of international operational, environmental, and safety standards.

The project encompasses approximately 100 million barrels of recoverable reserves and is governed by a 20-year CPPH agreement with an additional 20-year extension option, providing the contractual certainty required to support multi-decade capital investment and sustainable field development.

The development plan contemplates approximately US$400 million in phased investment over the initial 20-year term. Current production at the CEMA Oil Field is approximately 400 barrels of oil per day, with the development program targeting production of approximately 9,870 barrels per day through field rehabilitation, operational improvements, and enhanced production techniques.
