DENSO Unveils Pavilion and Arboretum in Partnership with City of Maryville, Leadership Blount, and Downtown Maryville Alliance

DENSO supports community spaces as it celebrates 35 years in Maryville, commemorates team members and neighbors

MARYVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc. (DMTN), in collaboration with the City of Maryville, Leadership Blount, and the Downtown Maryville Alliance, today celebrated the unveiling of a new pavilion and arboretum in local greenspaces.

The project marks a significant milestone as DENSO celebrates its 35^th anniversary in Maryville and underscores the company's ongoing commitment to community partnership and environmental stewardship.

The new pavilion, located in Bicentennial Park and measuring more than 1,500 square feet, is a gathering place for Maryville residents and visitors. It also stands as a tribute to the team members, partners, and community members who have shaped DENSO's legacy in the city.

DENSO and its partners also unveiled a new arboretum, which occupies portions of Bicentennial Park, the Maryville-Alcoa Greenway Trail and Jack Greene Park. This area already features abundant greenery, but as part of the opening, DENSO and partners planted the first of 35 trees that will soon come to the space, each representing one year of DENSO's operations in Maryville. The trees also reflect DENSO's focus on its Two Great Causes, Green and Peace of Mind.
