Dentist Holds Free Dental Day for Community
LANGHORNE, Pa., Nov. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Arpan Patel runs a successful dental practice known as Alpha Dental Excellence. Several times each year Alpha Dental Excellence provides free emergency dental care, basically any emergency causing you pain, to as many as a couple hundred people during a free treatment day.
"It all started with a vision, my father, Dr. Nalin Patel, who was very spiritual, he was a dentist for 38 years and he finally said enough about taking, it's all about giving now," Dr. Patel added.
Dr. Patel is carrying on a tradition. His father started the free treatment days and when he passed away it was a way for Dr. Patel to honor his father's memory while serving a community he appreciates.
"He means everything to me, it was a grave loss to me about four years ago but I'm grateful he was in my life for whatever time he was in there for," Dr. Patel said.
Doing good tends to be contagious and all of Dr. Patel's associates and team, who graciously also donate their time and skills.
"By doing something like this I feel like it's our way to give back to the community, in what we are truly good at," he said.
The patients who attended the last free emergency days, were outspoken in their support.
According to the team, many who knew Dr. Patel as a child it was clear how proud they were first of their relationship with the father but also that the son continues the legacy.
There are many of other community service events that this unique dental facility holds, especially this time of the year….from feeding many families, to a massive collection of food and toy drives, and sponsoring education for needy children. Alpha Dental Excellence seems to be the perfect fit for those they serve, both in the dental office and outside as well.
This upcoming FREE emergency dental day is located in the Alpha Dental Excellence location at 240 Middletown Blvd. Suite 100 in Langhorne, PA 19047 on Friday November 10, 2017. Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis only from 9 am – 2pm.
