Denver Magazine Creative Editor Named Neiman Marcus 'Fashion Stylist of the Year'

DENVER, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Neiman Marcus in Cherry Creek awarded Denver Magazine creative editor, Wendy Ledwitz, "Fashion Stylist of the Year."  On Friday, September 10, cities across the country celebrated the global Fashion's Night Out (FNO) initiative with in store fashion shows, designer appearances, live windows, celebrity guests, and other special events.  Here in Denver, Neiman Marcus rocked the runway with an evening of fall trends, makeovers, light bites, and the first ever "Fashion Stylist of the Year" competition.

"It was an amazing honor to be chosen as the Neiman Marcus Fashion Stylist of the Year," says Ledwitz. "Denver's fashion scene continues to gain momentum and it's exciting to be a part of it."

Ledwitz's custom looks were presented on the runway and were chosen as the overall best by a panel of local celebrities.  Judges included: Christel Dikeman (vice president and general manager, Neiman Marcus), Thierry Kennel (general manager, Four Seasons Hotel Denver), Kirk Montgomery (entertainment reporter, 9NEWS), and Patti Shyne (appearance coach).

"Fashion's Night Out at Neiman Marcus was the place to be in Denver last week," says Sagar. "The Fashion Show and stylist competition was a huge success and my prediction is that Fashion's Night Out will become a yearly event that grows bigger and better every year."

The other competing stylists included: Sylvia Atencio (freelance stylist), Holly Kylberg (Colorado Expression), Judie Schwartz (StyleMatters.us), and Dahlia Weinstein (303 Magazine).
