Descuento Libre Acquires LetsBonus Mexico and Launches MiPlan

AUSTIN, Texas, June 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Descuento Libre announced the acquisition of LetsBonus Mexico, a Living Social company and popular daily deals site that offers discounts on unique travel experiences, exclusive entertainment, gourmet restaurants, and popular tech and beauty products. With the acquisition, Descuento Libre launched a new site, MiPlan.com, which will continue to develop more engaging content and packaging of great experiences to users in Mexico and internationally.

When LetsBonus launched in Barcelona in 2009, it was one of the first European companies to follow the group buying model. Last year, the Spanish site agreed to a joint venture with industry leader Living Social, which provided momentum to its international expansion throughout Europe and Mexico. Currently, LetsBonus offers deals in seven countries and three languages.

The LetsBonus Mexico acquisition gives further momentum to Descuento Libre's international growth with products and services that are not only great values, but also uniquely curated experiences guided by a talented team, from the initial deal presentation through the purchase, redemption, and satisfaction of the customers, as well as the brands and merchants.
