The famed Brazilian supermodel took to the catwalk with designs characteristic of Desigual.
NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Desigual was first out of the gate at MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID. The brand's debut at the show was also a first for lead model Alessandra Ambrosio. Desigual showcased a collection that paid homage to women through compliments. The Spring-Summer 15 collection "Say Something Nice" is an exotic, psychedelic journey through time, where words come to life in the form of geometric shapes, daisies, hearts, galactics, brush strokes and colors.
The brand celebrated its 30th birthday and showed the world that it could still be "Happy," fresh, fun and optimistic while continuing to be the alternative "casual" fashion brand, collection after collection. An emotional tour loaded with nods to the past, in which its most loyal followers enjoyed the brand's most famous icons.
