Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation Prepares for Region's Largest Fundraising Event
"Wine & Dine in Paradise" Event Reaches Record Pre-Event Sales
DESTIN, FL, March 12 /PRNewswire/ - Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, one of the most successful non-profit organizations in the Southeast, offers food and wine enthusiasts an experience and pairing like no other, with the group's largest fundraiser of the year, "Wine & Dine in Paradise." This must-attend event will be held along Florida's Emerald Coast at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Florida (http://www.sandestin.com/) this April 23-24.
"Guests will dine with the 'Who's Who' of chefs and vintners from around the world," said Todd Vucovich, Executive Director, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. "Funds raised will be appropriated to specific projects benefiting Emerald Coast's children-based charities. "The 2009 event raised nearly $1 million for local charities and preparations are underway to accommodate a larger response in 2010.
The Foundation has named Bob Cabral, Executive Winemaker at the prestigious Russian River winery, Williams Selyem, as the event's 2010 Honorary Chairman. "Bob Cabral and Williams Selyem epitomize quality and a strong sense of community," adds Vucovich. "Joining Williams Selyem at the event is an A-list of other wineries such as Kosta-Browne, Duckhorn, Staglin, Pride Mountain and Jarvis, to name a few."
With only 20 tickets remaining, sales have outpaced past years based on the growing prestige and popularity of the event. The traditional Patron Package offers an intimate setting inviting guests to dine with acclaimed vintners and celebrity chefs at a private home. The new Restaurant Packages pairs extraordinary chefs with a featured celebrity vintner, at a cost below that of the traditional Patron package. Both packages offer access to Sandestin Wine Festival (http://www.sandestin.com/ExploreSandestin/SpecialEvents/WineFestival.aspx) Grand Tasting and the organization's main event, the Destin Charity Wine Auction.

Since 2005, the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation has worked to incorporate the best elements of the Emerald Coast's culture with raising money for children in need through superb wine events. After only four years, the organization has raised nearly $3 million impacting the lives of countless children and their families. Visit www.dcwaf.org for completed details.
