Developers Diversified Realty Secures Advertising and Sponsorship Agreements with AT&T and Coca-Cola in Puerto Rico

CLEVELAND, July 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Developers Diversified Realty Corporation (NYSE: DDR) today announced advertising and sponsorship agreements with AT&T and Coca-Cola in Puerto Rico.

Across the island leading brands and retailers continue to partner with Developers Diversified to grow their business. The Company has had an exclusive five-year partnership with MasterCard in Puerto Rico, recently renewed for two additional years, to help grow MasterCard's profile in the Caribbean. The addition of AT&T and Coca-Cola, along with MasterCard, further demonstrates that world-class brands have targeted well-positioned shopping centers as an excellent advertising venue to interact with consumers and gain market share.

In its entirety, Developers Diversified's new business development program in Puerto Rico, including sponsorship and advertising, generates revenue of over $10 million annually. Since acquiring the portfolio in 2005, new business development revenue in Puerto Rico has grown nearly 80 percent.

AT&T and Developers Diversified created an innovative advertising opportunity which allows AT&T to brand the signature solar system display, located in a prominent, highly-trafficked area at Plaza del Sol in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. After acquiring Centennial Wireless Company, AT&T searched for a unique way to introduce their brand on the island and Developers Diversified's flagship center on the island will be an excellent venue to connect tech-savvy consumers to AT&T.

The agreement with Coca-Cola makes them the exclusive vending and snack machine provider for Developers Diversified's portfolio of 15 shopping centers in Puerto Rico. Coca-Cola is installing over 60 vending machines at Developers Diversified's shopping centers across the island.
