DALLAS, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- DFW International Airport announces the opening of Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, the newest restaurant to open in Terminal A. This is the second Pappas concept to join DFW's Concessions and the only restaurant at the airport to offer fresh, Cajun seafood to travelers from around the world.
Guests will enter via escalator where a former DFW train station space has been transformed to a 6,500 square foot Louisiana-style restaurant with 40-foot ceilings and wall-to-wall mahogany. Among the many features, Pappadeaux will offer a "raw bar" for oyster and sushi lovers, over 20 TVs for the sports enthusiasts and in-house flight monitors for business travelers on the go. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen puts Guests "down on the bayou" with its savory aromas of spicy Cajun cooking and the sounds of Dixieland jazz.
"The addition of Pappadeaux allows DFW to continue its mission to deliver high-quality dining options and excellent variety to our passengers," said DFW International Airport CEO Jeff Fegan.
Pappadeaux offers more than 80 delicious menu items, including those found on the Chef Selections page. This frequently updated section of the menu highlights Pappas chefs' cutting-edge creations and allows Guests to sample from a diverse selection of choices ranging from Alaskan halibut to tropical mahi-mahi; American red snapper to sea bass.
"We are excited about opening a Pappadeaux at DFW Airport," said Pappas Restaurants owner Harris Pappas. "We look forward to serving our newest Guests with the freshest seafood around."
Keeping true to the Pappas tradition of freshness, everything at Pappadeaux is made in house daily – all sauces, marinades and salad dressings are made from scratch. The fun, French Quarter atmosphere makes Pappadeaux at DFW a festive oasis for travelers of all ages with mouthwatering seafood, bold flavors and excellent service. Since opening twenty-four years ago, Pappadeaux has grown to become a popular Guest favorite with now 35 nationwide locations.
Located in Terminal A, Gate 25, Pappadeaux offers a full dinner menu starting at 9 a.m. with Bloody Marys, premium coffees and muffins beginning at 6 a.m.
