The DHS contract has a $3B ceiling and represents an effort by DHS to establish a multi-vendor approach to implementing mission critical public safety communications.

The contract specifies that the team will deliver products and services under Technical Category 3 (Infrastructure Services), and Technical Category 4 (O&M Services).
The White House Communications Agency (WHCA), Department of Interior, Department of State, and Department of Justice will also have access to order state of the art command and communications products through these contracts as DHS partner agencies.
