Diamond Discoveries Appoints Bertrand Brassard as President and as a Member of the Board of Directors

NEW YORK, July 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - Diamond Discoveries International Corp. (OTCQB: DMDD), a U.S. company focusing on chromium, platinum group elements(PGE) and gold exploration on it's 100% owned Caribou Property in Thetford Mines, Quebec is pleased to announce the appointment of Bertrand Brassard as President and member of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Brassard has been the Senior Consulting Geologist to the Diamond Discoveries since 2008 when the Company acquired the Caribou chrome and PGE property in Thetford Mines, Quebec .Mr. Brassard is a geologist with more than 25 years of experience in the exploration sector from grass roots to advanced projects. He served as Vice President of Exploration and Director at Nevado Venture Capital Corp. from December 31,2009 to June 30,2011 .He has been a Senior Managing Geologist for numerous companies including Canadian Royalties Inc., Niogold Mining Corporation and Resources Allican Inc. He is the Senior Consultant and Principal of Bertrand Brassard Geoconseil Inc. Mr Brassard holds a B.Sc. degree in geology and a M.Sc. degree in Economic Geology from the University of Quebec at Montreal.
