Dianne Rodgers is recognized by Continental Who's Who
OWOSSO, Mich., Sept. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dianne Rodgers is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a 2017 Pinnacle Professional Member in the Food and Beverage industry.
Rodgers is the Owner of D'Mar Banquet and Conference Center located in Owosso, Michigan and serving the areas of Owosso, Flint, and Lansing. Although the center is available for various types of events, their specialty is wedding services and receptions. D'Mar offers a copious arrangement of ceremony and reception options for their soon-to-be-married clientele, including bar service, catering, decorations, and even pre-wedding ceremonies like bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.

Rodgers was inspired to go into the business of owning a banquet hall after seeing her parents own and manage their own restaurants since she was a child. The D'Mar website says, "Dianne's earliest childhood memories are in her parent's diner in Pennsylvania. When Dianne moved to Owosso in 1967, her parents opened the Coffee Cup restaurant on South M-52 where Mike (her future husband) and Dianne worked together throughout high school."
Eventually, the couple, after getting married, started Creative Catering, their own catering business, which expanded from a small building to three commercial kitchens throughout the years.
In a tragic turn of events, Mike was diagnosed with cancer in 2009, and passed away a year later, leaving Rodgers and her older son, Steve, to continue running the business they built. They eventually, persevered and Rodgers followed her and her late husband's dream of owning their own banquet center, which has turned into a thriving business.
Outside of work, Rodgers is a member of BNI, the Owosso Rotary Club, which is currently hosted in the D'Mar Banquet Center, and her local Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, in her spare time, she enjoys cooking, and spending time with her family.
Rodgers dedicates this recognition to; her sons, Stephen and Joseph, her daughter-in-law, Jaynel, and her 3 granddaughters - Sophia, Arlee, and Beatrix. Also dedicated in loving memory of her husband, Michael Allen Rodgers.
