SEMINOLE, Texas, Nov. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Seminole is ready to serve delicious barbecue to the surrounding community. They will be open for business on tomorrow, Sunday, November 6.

"It seems we have been advertising for months now and mostly people want to know when we are opening," said Kelli Johnson, wife of local franchise owner Scotty Johnson. "Now that our building is finished, our people are hired, and training is complete we are definitely ready to give the people what they are asking for...opening!" 

Scotty Johnson owns and operates this location with wife Kelli and brother Ross. As a huge fan of Dickey's Barbecue, Scott Johnson, Sr., Ross and Scotty's father, introduced his son's to the great taste of Dickey's at a young age.

"Both Ross and Scotty grew up in the Dallas area with Dickey's as a staple in their household.  After ballgames or a Saturday outing, Dickey's is where they headed," said Kelli Johnson.

Ross has experience in business management and real estate while Scotty has years of experience as a business owner and manager.

Dickey's is located at 701 North Main, which is down the road from a Wal-Mart.
