Diebold Appoints Jaivinder Singh Gill to Lead South Asia Business and Asia Pacific Regional Operations

NORTH CANTON, Ohio, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) today announced that Jaivinder Singh Gill has been appointed managing director, South Asia, and vice president, operations, Asia Pacific. In his role as managing director, Gill will lead Diebold's sales and services business in South Asia, which includes the India region and Australia.  As vice president, operations for Asia Pacific, he will drive business processes to improve efficiencies for the entire region.  Gill is based in Delhi, India, and reports to Neil Emerson, Diebold senior vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific.

Gill's career spans nearly 25 years of sales and operational leadership for various companies in the technology and financial services sectors. He joins Diebold from NCR, where he most recently served as vice president, South Asia Pacific.  Prior to NCR, he worked for companies such as Dell, Lenovo and American Express.
