With over 5000 outlets in 80 countries, Diesel needed to guarantee all of its global customers a top quality online experience when shopping on its website. For this reason, the retailer selected the Akamai's Dynamic Site Accelerator and Media Delivery solutions to support the launch of its brand new online store www.diesel.com, which went live in February, 2010. The new website was launched together with the "Be Stupid" campaign to present the spring-summer 2010 collection, aiming to increase visibility, website traffic and engage its global audience.

Soon after the launch of the "Be Stupid" campaign, the traffic on www.diesel.com went up more than double, reaching over 60,000 daily contacts.
