Digi International Announces Appointment of Business Segment Leaders
Mike Ueland promoted to President, IoT Products and Services, and Kevin C. Riley to President, IoT Solutions
MINNETONKA, Minn., Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Digi International®, (NASDAQ: DGII,) (www.digi.com), a leading global provider of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products and services, today announced two executive appointments designed to create greater alignment with Digi's organizational structure.
Announced in January, Digi formally transitioned its organizational structure into two business segments to more closely address market needs.
Mike Ueland, formerly senior vice president of global sales, has been appointed President, IoT Products and Services. This business segment provides OEM enterprise products and complementary enterprise software, professional services and support services, and includes the Accelerated Concepts product line.
Kevin C. Riley, formerly Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed President, IoT Solutions. This business segment, which includes SmartSense by Digi, provides subscriber-based condition monitoring and task management offerings to transform customers operations and decision-making for the food service, retail, healthcare, transportation and logistics, and educational markets.
