This integration enables customers to easily and securely connect edge devices with cloud applications through AWS IoT.

With AWS Greengrass technology, connected devices can run AWS Lambda functions locally, keep device data in sync, and communicate with other devices securely – even when not connected to the Internet. AWS IoT enabled next-generation Digi XBee® Cellular Smart Modems
Integrated AWS IoT support for the next-generation Digi XBee Cellular LTE Cat 1 modem will be available in Q1 2018, followed by support for the Digi XBee Cellular LTE-M and Digi XBee Cellular NB-IoT smart modems.
