Diligent launches new version of board iPad app in multiple languages and offers robust search

NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Diligent  (NZX: DIL) (www.boardbooks.com), provider of the world's most widely used board portal, has released the latest version of its Diligent Boardbooks® iPad app in four languages. The update includes a French, German, Portuguese and Spanish interface. It also introduces a robust search feature to immediately find a specific word or phrase within a board document.

The iPad app now allows French, German, Portuguese and Spanish speakers to use the Diligent Boardbooks solution in their native languages.  All icons, buttons and alerts will appear in the language chosen by the user. The iPad app will select the language based on the user's iPad setting and will automatically change languages to sync with the device.  For English-speaking directors or committee members there will be no changes to the interface unless a different language is chosen.

In addition to providing 24/7 support in English globally, Diligent has now added support staff in a number of other languages based on client demand. French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Polish and select Indian and Sri Lankan dialects are also available during specified hours.

The new search feature allows users to easily find specific text in any document within the Diligent Boardbooks solution across Current Books, Archived Books and Resource Centre. Users can get a list of all documents containing the search term, quickly preview pages where it appears and see it highlighted on each page. Diligent's robust search function is driven by advanced search options and filters that ensure the accuracy of search results.

The Diligent Boardbooks iPad app is available for download from the Apple App Store now.
