Dimension Data to Add 300 New Data Center Industry Experts and Innovators to Extend Capabilities

Expanding footprint and client demand for next-generation data center services fueling growth

NEW YORK, Feb. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimension Data, the $6.7 billion (USD) global ICT services and solutions provider, today announced it will hire an additional 300 data center experts throughout the next 18 months. These hiring plans are vital to the group's ambitions to quadruple its data center business from $1 billion to $4 billion by 2018. In addition, Dimension Data intends to make data center-focused acquisitions to build out skills and drive scale in major growth markets.

The group is also building out central teams to focus on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Benelux, as well as France.
