Dinner Auction to Benefit Epilepsy Foundation Northwest
Foundation Announces Annual Dinner Auction Date
SEATTLE, Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Epilepsy Foundation Northwest has announced the date for the upcoming "Light the Flame" dinner auction to benefit programs and services offered by the foundation. The event will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Fairmont Olympic in downtown Seattle. The event begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and a dinner and live auction at 7:30 p.m..
"This dinner auction presents a Mardi Gras theme which makes it a fun and festive evening for all." said Debbie Batteiger, Event Chair. "We are thrilled to have everyone involved to support this great cause."

The dinner hosts 300 medical professionals, business and community leaders, families impacted by epilepsy and volunteers for the organization.
Proceeds from the event support uncompensated programs and services including Camp Discovery for children with epilepsy and their siblings, year-round educational and support groups, self-advocacy and mentoring programs, emergency medication assistance, and seizure response training programs for school nurses and personnel, first responders and employers.
The annual Arthur A. Ward, Jr. Achievement in Epilepsy Award is presented each year at this annual dinner. The award is presented to those who have made a significant impact to support the epilepsy community through medical research or treatment, volunteerism, funding or program development.
