DIPLOMACY Teams Up With Model and Advocate Christy Turlington's Every Mother Counts
CEO Will Run Kilimanjaro Marathon To Help Raise Funds For Maternal Health Initiatives
NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Diplomacy CEO Jeff Fagen travels to Tanzania this week to run the Kilimanjaro Marathon on Sunday, March 3rd. Part of an effort to raise funds in support of Every Mother Counts, an organization, founded by Christy Turlington, that provides much needed pre and post-natal health services to mothers in need.
More than just streetwear, Diplomacy makes clothes to live by, "thought-wear", garments with meaning behind the threads. At the same time they seek to bring awareness and support to causes that resonate on a universal level.
Fagen explains, "Regardless of where you come from – the mother is the heart of the family unit. Without her, the family starts to break apart, which leads to all sorts of residual problems. This is why maternal health is so crucial, and why running in support of Every Mother Counts is so important to me and to Diplomacy."
Fagen has raised over $20,000 dollars in pledges to date.
