Directravel Announces Launch of Flight Tracker Program

MAHWAH, N.J., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Directravel, a leading corporate travel management company, announced today that they have found yet another way to make travel more convenient offering a new flight tracking service called Flight Tracker.

As the world's most complete web-based monitoring system, Flight Tracker can send real-time flight tracking, and airport delay information via e-mail or text message prior to and while traveling. This tool is provided at no charge to all clients of Directravel. Travelers can set up a profile that will allow them to receive alerts notifying them of any possible delays, cancellations and gate changes.

Flight Tracker will send a message to the e-mail or SMS address that the client will have given upon registration allowing the traveler to be alerted to the status of all flights four hours before departure, along with any cancellations or diversions. This gives the client plenty of time to make new arrangements if there was to be a delay. Two hours before departure Flight Tracker will send a message alerting them of the status and any delays of all flights. The traveler will also be notified of any delays greater than thirty minutes, including connection information and changes of connecting flights of more than fifteen minutes, up to the time of departure.
