One of the World's Most Prolific Inventors and Futurists, Donald Spector, Donates new Patent to New York College of Health Professions
NEW YORK, June 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- US Patent # 9,367,285 which issued today creates a world of life size Christmas Trees, Waterfalls and Zoos...without glasses...at the push of a button on a smartphone. This dramatic technology was donated by Donald Spector, Chairman of New York College of Health Professions, to the College under the IP policy of the College, and allows for audio and visual streaming of Internet sites and playlists to be transformed into Holograms that are indistinguishable from reality. Mr. Spector explains, "I grew up in reality, it wasn't that great. Virtual reality lets you do anything, anytime and in many cases is indistinguishable from the 'Real Thing'. An example is in buildings, homes and venues have Christmas Trees, which are short lived and a potential fire hazard which have to be discarded in a few weeks. Through this technology, a full size Christmas Tree, better than anything you've seen before, appears with lights, sound and decorations that move with the press of a button. Even Fireworks can come right at you with sound and light but no danger of fire. Waterfalls, bird sanctuaries, even volcanoes can erupt in your living room. Virtual reality will not be limited to glasses and gaming. Everything you see will be either real or surreal and there will be no difference unless you touch them."
Already throughout the world there are virtual zoos and 7D demonstrations. The new generation will see musicians, athletes, celebrities, alive or dead appearing live. It is a limitless world, which Spector says will take a giant step forward in the next couple of years. Disabled people will be able to experience sports, as will the elderly and infirmed. Spector plans on adding virtually reality to Veterans Hospitals, assisted Living facilities, and to the general public in apartments within the next 18 months.
