MILWAUKEE, April 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Diversatek Inc., a privately-owned holding company in the medical and medical technology markets, today announced that it will combine two of its subsidiaries under a new name to boost the company's presence in the endoscopy and GI diagnostic marketplace.
Diversatek Healthcare will now function as a single organization, uniting two complementary gastroenterological care brand portfolios, Sandhill Scientific and Medovations. The new structure is designed to maximize innovative product development, increase breadth of product offerings and promote a more personalized patient experience. The company has also heightened its ongoing commitment to research.
"Personalized service, best-in-class clinical education, and an untiring dedication to science will continue to differentiate Diversatek Healthcare," said Diversatek Healthcare President and CEO Meg Vierling. "We have large company resources yet maintain our commitment to personal connections with our customers. Every product concept begins with an understanding of clinical and patient needs, and that's ultimately how we measure our achievements," said Vierling.
Diversatek Healthcare will bring together the formidable technology and engineering teams of both constituent companies, improving a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic GI applications. Medovations brand endoscopy products enhance patient care and comfort, and streamline workflow. The best-in-class Sandhill Scientific brand diagnostic solutions focus on esophageal motility disorders, anorectal motility disorders, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
"Our singular goal is to continue to build a focused organization rooted in technology, innovation, efficiency, accountability and attentiveness," said Diversatek Inc. Chairman and CEO Brant Stanford. "We feel that the combined portfolios provide a unique offering of therapeutic devices, accessories, and highly specialized diagnostics that enable our customers to provide exceptional care. We look forward to supplementing our current product portfolio as a result of shared resources and access to broader technologies," said Stanford.
The brand launch announcement comes just weeks before Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in Chicago and the Annual Course of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates (SGNA) in New Orleans. Diversatek Healthcare will be exhibiting in booth #1921 at DDW and booth #723 at SGNA. The company will discuss plans for focused product solutions that leverage the inherent synergies of its combined subsidiaries. Currently in development is a product that takes advantage of the vehicle delivery technology of Medovations and the data capturing and analytics of Sandhill Scientific.
Medovations has been a wholly-owned, independently-managed Diversatek Inc. subsidiary since 1983. Medovations, in turn, acquired Sandhill Scientific in 2013 and has managed it as a wholly-owned subsidiary since that time. Diversatek Healthcare will continue to run its primary operations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and its state-of-the-art Technical Research and Training Center in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
