"I'm excited to join the team at DivvyCloud," said Scott. Prior to Capital One, Scott worked at AOL running AIM and ICQ, at the time the world's largest messaging platforms. He also spent time as AOL's lead evangelist for accessibility, helping make its products functional for blind, deaf and physically disabled users. Scott left AOL to serve as CTO for the D.C. based startup Mobile Posse, focused on building CRM platforms for tier 1 carriers in the U.S. Scott's first job out of college involved building software and hardware capabilities for the CIA and NSA, which required a TS/SCI clearance level.
