DK Reveals Author Lineup and Giveaways for New York Comic Con, October 6-9.

NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Award-winning and bestselling book publisher DK announces a jam-packed schedule of author signings planned for New York Comic Con as well as an exclusive LEGO^® kits giveaway and a Marvel display photo opp. Hosted by ReedPOP, New York Comic Con will take place October 6–9 at the Javits Center in Manhattan and is the country's largest pop culture event on the East Coast.

Stop by DK booth #2311 on Thursday October 6 to meet author Meagan Marie for her one-day-only signing of 20 Years of Tomb Raider advances. Star Wars™ fans will be in for a treat with daily signings by Lucasfilm Story Group Creative Executive Pablo Hidalgo for Star Wars™ Year by Year: A Visual History, Updated Edition, available in a striking black-and-yellow slipcase. DK Star Wars authors Jason Fry and Kerrie Dougherty will sign prints and copies of the updated Star Wars™ Complete Locations, which features fifty intricate cross-section artworks of a galaxy far, far away….

Starting Friday October 7 and running through Sunday October 9, comic fans can meet authors Adam Bray, Lorraine Cink, and John Sazaklis to pick up signed posters and buy copies of Marvel Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, a quirky trivia guide featuring everyone's favorite Marvel Comics characters, including The Avengers, Spider-Man, and Daredevil. Fans can even turn themselves into Hulk through an interactive photo display. DC Comics loyalists can swing by the booth at 3:00 p.m. Thursday–Saturday to meet authors Matt Manning and Alan Cowsill, and purchase early copies of the revamped DC Comics Encyclopedia. LEGO^® builder Rod Gillies will make a special appearance on Friday to showcase his builds from LEGO ^®Star Wars™: Build Your Own Adventure.

Fans should make note to stop by the DK booth at noon each day for a chance to spin the prize wheel for free books and look out for the LEGO^® kits giveaway inspired by DK's new title, 365 Things to do with LEGO ^®Bricks.
