MUNICH, Germany, January 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Musical highlights are a special performance by Taio Cruz, DJ Reme from Mumbai and the Munich duo "Kill the Tills"
On January 23, the second day of DLD Conference 2012, DLD Night at "Haus der Kunst" sets the social summit of the international conference in Munich. Also this year Universal Music presents the musical highlight: Taio Cruz will perform hits like Hangover and Troublemaker from his new album "TY.O". The British singer lines up with world stars like Lady Gaga, Duffy, Cheryl Cole, Gabrielle Cilmi or Amy MacDonald who have already been star guests at DLD Night. DJ Reme from Mumbai, who already performed in numerous clubs around the world, brings the "Bollywood-Feeling" to DLD Night with "Authentic Desi Electro House"-Music. And also the Munich brothers Amédée and Milen (Kill the Tills) - well known for the event "At night, when the author approaches" - will ensure the good mood. Partners of the event are Universal Music, XING and Yahoo.
The British singer, songwriter and producer Taio Cruz achieved gold-status in the UK for his debut album "Departure" which earned him a nomination for the MOBO-Awards. Taio Cruz had his international breakthrough in 2010 with the studio album "Rokstarr" which has been sold more than 800.000 times. His third eagerly awaited album "TY.O" was released on December 2, 2011. Ever since Taio Cruz blocks the top chart positions reliably: his first single "Hangover" achieved platinum-status so far and his brand-new single "Troublemaker" (Publication 06.01.2012), for which he cooperated with Swedish House Mafia-Member Steve Angello, is on its best way to achieve gold-status. Renowned for his unique mix of pop-electro, club sounds and catchy refrains, the so-called "Chart Monster" (UK-Press) contributed the title song "Telling the World" to the blockbuster "Rio". Already before his brilliant solo-breakthrough during summer 2010 Taio Cruz was a hit supplier for years to colleagues as Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake or the Sugababes.
