• Relative TCO of laptops in question: It's time for enterprises to rethink how they view computers for work. Do employees need a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop and accessories to get the job done? By assessing the needs of the workforce, enterprises can better determine the number and type of devices that are needed at work and in the field, whether that be shared workstations that rely on desktop and application virtualization or thin client, or another mobile form factor.
• Mobile and Cloud have converged: Mobile devices are merely access points to a person's or company's data, which is more and more often being housed on mobile clouds. However, mobile cloud platforms can be expensive and don't always provide an affordable, scalable solution. The reality is, there isn't one go-to solution in this space, and across the board, the user experience isn't where it needs to be.
