LOS GATOS, Calif., April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Join Venture Christian Church on the weekend of May 16-17, at Leonard Herman Intermediate School, located at 5955 Blossom Ave, San Jose, CA where we will put our skill sets to use by helping a local South Bay school in the Blossom Valley neighborhood of San Jose, CA.

Beautiful Day – the concept – is a group of government agencies, churches, community organizations, and individuals helping others by addressing needs across Santa Clara County, CA. Since its inception in 2004, Beautiful Day has sought to invest in communities with simple, and unyielding kindness that has a tangible effect in the community.

What's being done:
Painting, landscaping, tree planting, gardening, plumbing, and general beautification of the property will be taking place in several groups for the entire weekend. If you have a business that can partner with us or a skill set in carpentry, landscaping and painting, we'd love to hear from you.

Have a passion for helping others in our city and want to have a blast working alongside friends and new faces, sign up now to volunteer at Beautiful Day May 16-17! Families and sports leagues, clubs and teams are all welcome to join. Youth age 6 to 17 are welcome to volunteer. Kids ages 6-12 will need to work with their parents. Give 4 hours of your weekend or more to do good! Lunch provided.
