'Dog's Day Out' Series Secures First Major Sponsorships; Focus on Dog Adoption
AUSTIN, Texas, March 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dog's Day Out, a new series about finding rescue dogs their forever homes, is pleased to announce its first major sponsorships with iHeartDogs, a media and product company whose motto is "every dog matters," and Michelson Found Animals, a non-profit animal welfare organization. The partnerships will be officially announced at the South by SouthWest (SXSW) Film Festival.
From creator Rocky Kanaka, Dog's Day Out follows Rocky on his mission to find a down-on-their-luck rescue dog a forever home. Through that process, he treats his new dog friend to their 'best day ever'. The show offers an exciting element of community involvement as it engages the viewer to help Rocky on his mission.
Each year, about 7 million pets enter shelters across North America and 3 million healthy, adoptable pets are euthanized. By bringing together the inspiring stories of dogs, with brands that believe in our mission, Dog's Day Out is able to reach an audience in the millions every episode, Rocky said.

Each partnership will be unique and flexible in order to best tailor the sponsor's message for the potential audience of over 1 million dog owners and enthusiasts, Kanaka said. And the unique interactive format of the show allows Kanaka to weave in sponsor messaging in fresh and inventive ways.
