KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Shopping is better with your best friend by your side — and Kansas City's Historic West Bottoms is rolling out the welcome mat for dogs and their humans during Barks in the Bottoms, August 1–3. Shoppers can get their steps in and their dog walked all while meeting other pups that strut these 'dog days of summer' in this unique district just off the 12^th Street Bridge.

Leashed dogs are invited to join the treasure hunt through the district's massive vintage, antique, and specialty shops. Shoppers can stroll the historic, brick-lined streets and explore 13 blocks of unique finds — all without leaving their pups at home. Many stores will have water bowls, dog treats, shaded seating, and even photo-worthy backdrops so furry companions can soak up the weekend fun, too.

Shops will be open Friday through Sunday, with most opening at 9 AM, closing around 6 PM on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday from 12-4 PM.
