Dominion Diagnostics, LLC Honored by The Providence Center at 2010 Circle of Stars Event
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Dominion Diagnostics, LLC was honored last evening by Rhode Island's largest community mental health center, The Providence Center, at its annual Circle of Stars Awards Dinner and Auction held at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Since 1969, The Providence Center has brought hope to hundreds of thousands of children, adolescents, adults and families affected by mental illness, behavioral health and substance use problems in Rhode Island. Each year, The Providence Center's Circle of Stars celebrates by recognizing individuals and organizations that have added to its rich history and helped to shape the future of its organization. This year, Dominion Diagnostics was honored by Circle of Stars for its valuable in-kind services and philanthropic support to the organization and the Rhode Island community. Along with Dominion, David and Marge Sluter of New England Construction were also honored.
The Providence Center's President and Chief Executive Officer, Dale K. Klatzker, Ph.D., introduced the honorees as "perfect examples of people who understand our mission to provide the best and most effective services to our clients who seek to live full and productive lives." Proceeds from the Circle of Stars event will be allocated to the organization's Coping with Crisis Fund that was created to help low-income children, adults, and families in crisis who rely on The Providence Center's help every day.
