Dormie Club in Pinehurst Now Offering Private Memberships with Access to National Network of Private Destination Clubs

Located just outside the village of Pinehurst, Dormie Club features Bermuda fairways and tees and bent grass greens. It measures up to 6,883 yards with a rating of 73.7 and a slope of 138. It has been regularly ranked among the top ten courses in the state by Golf Magazine, Golfweek, and Golf Digest since its opening in 2010, and has been widely recognized as a top public course. Originally conceptualized as a private course, Dormie Club opened play up to non-members almost immediately after opening in 2010. As a private course, Dormie Club will cap local membership to offer limited play per day, ensuring an intimate golf experience for every member.

Under new ownership, Dormie Club expects to break ground on several major construction projects and renovations as early as quarter one of 2018. That includes a number of course renovations, the installation of a halfway house and a full-service clubhouse, which are currently in the planning stages, and the construction of on-site cottage accommodations. "Dormie Club was destined to be one of the great private courses from its beginning," explains Zach Peed of Hainoa, LLC. "With these immediate investments, we're returning the club to its original concept: an exceptional offering of amenities at a renowned Coore-Crenshaw course in an intimate atmosphere—an exclusive, pure golf experience."

Membership Offerings
Membership to Dormie Club is available in three categories: local, national, and corporate. Local membership is extended to individuals whose primary residence is within a 50-mile radius of the club. National memberships are available to individuals who maintain a primary residence outside a 50-mile radius of Dormie Club. Corporate membership packages are also available to authorized entities and include up to three designees. "Our vision with these courses is for every club to feel like your home club—just a great place to relax and play golf. We've outlined membership offerings to provide local access, while also accommodating buddy trips, corporate retreats, and other destination outings—whether for business or leisure."

All three classifications of membership at Dormie Club include membership to every course within the network of private destination courses to which it belongs. The network includes Ballyhack in nearby Roanoke, Virginia, Briggs Ranch in San Antonio, and ArborLinks in Nebraska City—all of which are ranked among the top ten in their respective states.
