Authorization for use in US Federal Government Environments Confirms LabArchives as a Trustworthy Platform for Scientific Data Management and Compliance

This milestone affirms LabArchives® as a platform for managing scientific research data across U.S. federal agencies that has been reviewed and confirmed for its adherence to the controls required for authorization.

Sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), LabArchives for Government is now listed as FedRAMP Authorized on the FedRAMP Marketplace. This designation enables federal agencies to adopt LabArchives' for Government Solution including its Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), Inventory, and Scheduler applications with confidence, knowing they meet rigorous federal security standards.

A Track Record of Compliance & Collaboration

LabArchives began its journey toward FedRAMP compliance in 2019, enhancing its security posture through SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. In 2022, LabArchives secured a 1,000-user pilot license with the NCI. Building on this success, the NIH expanded its commitment in 2023 with a 4,000-user license and in 2024 with a 7,000-user license, making LabArchives the first ELN licensed for agency-wide use at the NIH.
