DoubleTree by Hilton Portland to Install OpConnect EV Charging Stations

PORTLAND, Ore., May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- OpConnect, LLC, a visionary leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging station technology, announced today the installation of its smart EV charging system in the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland parking facility.  The charging stations, supported by the OpConnect wireless communications network, feature high-resolution touch screens designed to deliver superior quality interactive advertising and messaging. These charging stations will operate under a long-term advertising supported agreement. Under the mutually beneficial agreement, both OpConnect and DoubleTree will receive revenue generated as a result of advertising displayed on the charging stations, in addition to usage revenue from EV drivers.
