Dowitcher Press Launches New Branding & Website

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dowitcher Press, a small press located in Santa Barbara, announces the launch of their new website and branding.

Founded by Amber Wallace in 2006, the press publishes primarily poetry and limited works of fiction. Dowitcher Press specializes in small runs, and works with poets to promote works.

The new branding comes as the press is preparing the release of three new books of poetry. The new website, located at www.dowitcherpress.com, will provide opportunities to purchase books and learn more about the authors. Future readings and resources will round out the new site over time.

The rebranding was completed in conjunction with Dowitcher Designs, a creative communications agency owned and operated by Amber Wallace and Jill Kingdon.

Dowitcher Press was founded by Amber Wallace in Santa Barbara, California. After working as an editor and book designer, Ms. Wallace looked to create an outlet for poets to publish and promote their work. She founded creative agency Dowitcher Designs with Jill Kingdon in 2006, and sill wanted an outlet to sustainably print books in small runs. Dowitcher Press was born. The press continues to operate and release books in limited runs, distributed locally and online.
