Dr. Jennifer Edwards, MD is recognized by Continental Who's Who

MIDDLETON, N.J., July 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Jennifer Edwards, MD is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Psychiatry in recognition of her role as Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Owner of Jennifer Edwards M.D. LLC.   

Dr. Jennifer Edwards, MD established her own private practice almost a decade ago in Middletown, New Jersey. There, Dr. Edwards has dedicated herself to providing the New Jersey residents with the quality Psychiatric healthcare services that they deserve.

With over twenty seven years of experience under her belt, Dr. Jennifer Edwards is revered for her outstanding contributions to the medical industry. Having established herself as a prominent professional with the field, throughout her career, Dr. Edwards has attained extensive expertise in the areas of mentorship and psychiatry. In her current capacity, Dr. Edwards utilizes her years of experience in dealing with the many issues that impact children, teens, young adults and their families by providing psychiatric assessments, medication monitoring, family education and supportive therapy.

Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry both from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, early in her career, Dr. Edwards attended College of the Holy Cross where she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Dr. Edwards graduated from New York Medical College in 1991. She completed her internship and residency in General Psychiatry at St Vincent's Hospital/ Medical Center in New York. Thereafter, Dr. Edwards would then go on to complete her fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-Newark in New Jersey.

In an effort to further enhance her professional development, Dr. Edwards is a distinguished fellow of several organizations including the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Association, National Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association and the Child & Adolescent Association.

Dr. Edwards dedicates this recognition in memory of her parents Ronald Blake and Barbara Ashman. She also dedicates this recognition with special thanks to her daughter Jade Edwards Weston.
