Dr. Berdahl specializes in advanced cataract, corneal and glaucoma surgery, in addition to refractive surgery. He practices at Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, an internationally recognized refractive surgery practice specializing in advanced eye surgeries.
Dr. Berdahl graduated from Mayo Medical School and finished his ophthalmology residency at Duke University. He also completed an anterior segment fellowship at Minnesota Eye Consultants. He has won numerous national awards including the Claes Dohlman Award from Harvard University, given to the top cornea fellow in America, and the Resident Writers Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In 2013, he was named the top young physician in South Dakota.
