Dr. Michael Greenwood, of Vance Thompson Vision, Accepts Associate Medical Director Position at Dakota Sight

FARGO, N.D., Oct. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vance Thompson Vision, a refractive surgery and research facility specializing in laser vision correction, is proud to announce that Michael Greenwood, MD was nominated to the position of Associate Medical Director of Dakota Sight. Dr. Greenwood joined our practice in 2016 as a corneal and refractive surgeon, specializing in laser vision correction. He was nominated by Marcy Dimond, Executive Director of Dakota Sight.

Dr. Greenwood was born and raised in Jamestown, ND. He attended the University of North Dakota where he was also an ESPN 1st Team Academic All-American while participating on the football team. He then attended the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences to receive his Doctor of Medicine. He did his ophthalmology training at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH where he was Administrative Chief Resident.

Dr. Greenwood will continue to focus his work on advanced vision correction procedures to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.
