Dr. Oz's HealthCorps® and Evamor Water Announce Their New Partnership to Bring Peer Mentoring Program to High Schools Across Country

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --  HealthCorps and Evamor Natural Alkaline Water will hold a special assembly to announce their partnership to bring HealthCorps' innovative peer mentoring program to high-need high schools across the U.S., including schools in New Orleans and Houston.  As a key national partner, Evamor is investing in a proven peer mentoring program co-founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz and his wife Lisa Oz.

The program's health curriculum on nutrition, fitness and mental strength launches this week at New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School, McDonogh 35 High School and has already begun at Houston's Lamar High School. Through the important new relationship, New Orleans teens will learn how simple lifestyle changes can enhance their health and mental resilience.  Evamor will have a presence at all HealthCorps school and community events across the country.  New labeling for Evamor's Artesian Water now carries the text, "Official Water Sponsor of HealthCorps, founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz."

Dr. Mehmet Oz to Co-host Fundraiser Dinner for HealthCorps to Help Stem Teenage Obesity At Charity's First New Orleans Benefit

This event represents the first New Orleans fundraiser for HealthCorps. Dr. Mehmet Oz, Evamor CEO Bo Reily and his wife Caroline, will co-host the event and welcome a range of prominent guests from New Orleans' social and celebrity circles.
