Dr. Prem Reddy Named Fourteenth Most Influential Physician Executive in the Nation
ONTARIO, Calif., April 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Prem Reddy, M.D., FACC, FCCP, Chairman, President and CEO of Prime Healthcare Services, has been named to Modern Healthcare's prestigious list of the "50 Most Influential Physician Executives" for 2015.
Dr. Reddy was selected as the fourteenth most influential physician executive in the nation, moving up one spot from 2014. This is the fifth time he has been recognized on the list, which this year included Richard Gilfillan, President and CEO of Trinity Health, Jonathan Perlin, President of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer at HCA, John Noseworthy, President and CEO of the Mayo Clinic and Toby Cosgrove, CEO of the Cleveland Clinic.

According to Modern Healthcare, the name of the program reflects the skills needed to improve the healthcare delivery system in the post-healthcare reform era. This year's nomination process focused greater attention on executive responsibility, leadership qualities, professional achievement, innovation and community service.
Reader nominations are used to create the final ballot for this competition. Readers then vote for one of 150 physician executives on that ballot. Readers' votes count for 50 percent of the outcome. The other 50 percent came from the expert opinions of the senior editors at Modern Healthcare and Modern Physician. Executives do not pay to be nominated or receive this award, the only basic criteria being that the person must be a physician executive.
