Dr. Rod J. Rohrich Ranked Number 1 in Four Categories in Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2026

Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Rod J. Rohrich earned #1 rankings in rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid surgery, and liposuction, plus #2 rankings in breast augmentation and tummy tuck.

DALLAS, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Rod J. Rohrich has earned top placements in all six categories of Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2026 rankings, including #1 nationally in eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), facelift, liposuction, and rhinoplasty. He also ranked #2 in breast augmentation and #2 in tummy tuck (abdominoplasty).

Now in its sixth edition, America's Best Plastic Surgeons was developed by Newsweek in partnership with global data research firm Statista. For the 2026 rankings, thousands of medical experts with knowledge of plastic surgery were invited to participate in an online survey conducted from April through May 2026 in order to identify the best plastic surgeons in the United States. More than 10,000 votes were collected and analyzed across the six procedure categories.

Dr. Rohrich's 2026 results continue a multi-year record of high placement across the Newsweek rankings. His #1 ranking in rhinoplasty and #1 ranking in facelift extend his run at the top of both categories to six consecutive years, dating to the first edition in 2021. He also remains #1 in eyelid surgery and liposuction, while ranking #2 in both breast augmentation and tummy tuck.

The 2026 methodology included recommendations from medical professionals in the 25 U.S. states with the largest numbers of plastic surgeons. Participants were asked to identify leading surgeons both within and outside their own states, and self-recommendations were not permitted. For in-state recommendations, participants also assessed quality of care, including consultation, complications, follow-up care, and surgical outcomes.

Each surgeon's final score combined three components: reputation scores from peer recommendations, which accounted for 80% of the total; quality-of-care assessments, which accounted for 15%; and American Board of Plastic Surgery certification, which accounted for 5%. The top 30 surgeons in each procedure category were numerically ranked, while additional recognized surgeons were listed alphabetically. In total, 578 individual plastic surgeons were recognized across one or more categories.
