Dr. Scott Wagnild Installed as President of Minnesota Dental Association

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Scott Wagnild has been installed as president of the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA) for the 2025-2026 term at the Association's Leadership Conference in Minneapolis.

Dr. Wagnild is a 1989 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. After completing his dental degree, he spent three years in a hospital-based general practice residency program at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

For more than two decades, Dr. Wagnild has maintained a private dental practice in Fergus Falls. Over the years, he has made valuable contributions to the MDA through his service on several committees, including the Environment and Safety Committee and the Legislative Affairs Committee, on which he continues to serve. He has volunteered his time and skills to the Minnesota Mission of Mercy, delivering much-needed dental care to underserved communities. Additionally, his leadership roles have included serving as a West Central District Trustee and as a 10^th District MDA delegate at the American Dental Association (ADA) House of Delegates.

In his free time, Dr. Wagnild enjoys outdoor activities, early morning exercise at the YMCA, restoration projects at his home in Fergus Falls, and volunteering in his community.
