In comparison, the Dodge Demon advertises 840 horsepower at the crank, which translates to 704 horsepower at the rear wheels. Likewise, the HellScat's extreme torque output leaves the Dodge Demon in wimpy second place.
Dream Giveaway's HellScat is a high-horsepower salute to the Dodge Scat Pack racing team of the late '60s and early '70s. Under the hood is a 4.5 liter Whipple supercharger, the not-so-secret ingredient, which elevates the HellScat's output to 1,000-plus horsepower. Dream Giveaway Garage also upgraded the factory driveshaft to a heavy-duty unit from Drive Shaft Shop and shod the factory mag wheels with Nitto drag radials.
The HellScat—the only one in the world—was track tested and autographed by 17-time NHRA National Champion "Big Daddy" Don Garlits.
