NEW YORK, March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dreamcatcher Events is proud to announce the first-ever Tommy Emmanuel's Guitar Getaway, a five day/four night, one-of-a-kind immersive performing arts retreat, set to take place September 15 to 19, 2016 in Havana, Cuba. The event will feature guitar great Tommy Emmanuel, alongside special guests Frank Vignola, Vinny Raniolo, and Pancho Amat, Cuba's leading Tresero.

Tommy Emmanuel's Guitar Getaway promises to be a one-of-a-kind musical event. Attendees will immerse themselves in Cuban music, food, and culture while participating in a true cultural exchange. Sessions will be held at the Institute Superior Del Arte (ISA), as well as the Cuban National Music Conservatory, home to some of the greatest musicians and music teachers in the world. Concerts will take place throughout the city, and time off will be slated for those interested in exploring the sites of Havana or taking private lessons from Cuban masters.
"The city of Havana, with all of its beautiful architecture, is going to be the backdrop for this retreat. If you come you'll not only experience something completely unique, but you'll also learn from Cuban masters as well as myself, Frank Vignola, and Vinny Raniolo," said Emmanuel. "In particular, I'm very excited to work with the great Pancho Amat. He's arguably the best guitar player that Cuba has ever produced, specializing in a Cuban guitar called a tres. He'll be playing a lot of the traditional style of Cuban music and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from them and all the other great Cuban musicians we will meet during our adventure."
Registrants will meet in Miami and fly as a group into Havana. Upon arrival, all travel, transport, hotels, food, and concerts are included, and each registrant will receive their very own tres guitar. During the retreat, Spanish interpreters and guides will be on hand for all activities. Dreamcatcher Events is also available to assist with arranging flights and visas.
